Welcome to Los Compas Golf Studio. By accessing our website, booking our services, entering our facility, purchasing a membership, or purchasing any custom products, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General Use

Los Compas Golf Studio provides club fitting, custom building, repairs, simulator access, and related golf services. All services are provided by appointment or scheduled consultation unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason, including but not limited to abusive behavior or misuse of our products, facility, or services.

2. Bookings & Appointments

• All fittings and consultations must be scheduled in advance.

• Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice.

• Missed appointments without notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

3. Membership Terms

3.1 General Membership Terms

• Memberships are billed either monthly or annually, per the plan selected at signup.

• Monthly memberships have no long-term contract and may be canceled at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. No cancellation fee applies to monthly memberships.

• Membership benefits (simulator hours, booking limits, guest privileges) are as described for the selected tier at the time of signup and are subject to change for future billing periods with notice.

• Membership is for the named individual only and is non-transferable, except where a guest privilege is explicitly included in the plan.

3.2 Annual Membership Terms

• Annual memberships are billed once per year, in advance, at the rate shown at signup ("Total Annual Price").

• Auto-renewal: Annual memberships automatically renew for successive one-year terms at the then-current annual rate unless canceled at least 7 days before the renewal date.

• Cancellation & refunds: Annual memberships may be canceled at any time by written notice to Los Compas Golf Studio. The annual rate reflects a discount off the standard monthly rate; that discount is earned by completing the full term. If an annual member cancels before the end of their paid term, any refund is calculated as:

  Total Annual Price − (months used × the standard monthly rate for the member's tier) − a 4% processing fee applied to the Total Annual Price.

  Any partial month counts as a full month used. Where this calculation results in zero or a negative amount, no refund is due; no refund is available in the final months of an annual term. In no event will a refund exceed the amount actually paid.

  Example: A Full Annual member (Total Annual Price $1,969; standard monthly rate $179) cancels during month 5. Months used = 5 × $179 = $895. Processing fee = 4% of $1,969 ≈ $79. Refund = $1,969 − $895 − $79 = $995.

• Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of the cancellation request.

• No refund is due where a membership is terminated by the studio for violation of these Terms (see Section 9.5).

• Welcome gifts (shirt/towel) and any regrip labor already redeemed are not deducted from or added back to the refund calculation — they are one-time perks tied to signup and are not refundable or reversible.

• Grandfathered pricing (where applicable, e.g. for members transitioning from a prior membership program) is honored for the member's current term and any consecutive renewal, but is not guaranteed beyond that at the studio's discretion.

3.3 Regrip Perk Terms (Full & Unlimited Members, Monthly or Annual)

• Available to Full and Unlimited members only, after 3 consecutive months of active, uninterrupted membership.

• Covers labor only for one full-bag regrip (13 clubs) per 12-month period; grips must be purchased through Los Compas Golf Studio.

• If a membership lapses or is canceled and later restarted, the 3-month qualification period restarts.

• Not redeemable for cash or credit toward other services.

3.4 Fittings

Club fitting sessions are billed separately at standard rates and are not discounted for any membership tier, monthly or annual.

3.5 Simulator Use & Booking

Sessions must be booked through the studio's online booking system.

3.6 Acknowledgment

By checking the box at signup, the member acknowledges they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

4. Payments

• Payment is due upon completion of service or at the time of order confirmation for custom builds.

• We accept major credit/debit cards and other forms of electronic payment.

• A deposit may be required for custom club orders or special requests.

• All prices are listed in USD and are subject to applicable taxes.

5. Custom Club Orders

• Custom-built clubs are made to order and based on specifications provided during your fitting.

• Due to the personalized nature of our products, all sales on custom clubs are final.

• Please allow for the stated build and delivery timeline provided at the time of your order.

• If a component becomes unavailable, we will contact you to discuss alternatives.

6. Repairs & Adjustments

We take care to perform all repairs and adjustments with precision and professionalism. While we inspect every item, Los Compas Golf Studio is not responsible for damage resulting from previous misuse, excessive wear, or third-party modifications.

7. Returns & Refunds

• Standard (non-custom) products may be eligible for return within 14 days of purchase, provided they are unused and in original condition.

• Custom clubs and modified equipment are non-refundable unless a manufacturing defect is identified.

• Refunds, where applicable, will be processed to the original payment method.

• Membership refunds are governed by Section 3 above.

8. Warranty

• We guarantee our craftsmanship and materials for 90 days from the date of delivery.

• This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by accidents or third parties.

• Manufacturer warranties on components may also apply depending on the brand.

9. Waiver of Use, Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

This section affects your legal rights. Please read it carefully before entering the studio or using any equipment.

9.1 Acknowledgment of Risk

Golf, golf instruction, club fitting, and simulator use involve inherent risks of injury, including serious injury, permanent disability, or death. These risks include, without limitation: being struck by a golf club, golf ball, club head, or shaft fragment; ricochet or deflection of balls from screens, nets, frames, walls, or other surfaces; club or shaft breakage during use; slips, trips, and falls on mats, turf, flooring, cabling, or equipment; strain, sprain, or overuse injury from swinging; collision with other persons, equipment, or fixtures; and eye, ear, or head injury. You acknowledge that these risks cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken by Los Compas Golf Studio.

9.2 Voluntary Participation & Physical Condition

You represent that you are in adequate physical condition to participate in golf activities and that you have no medical condition that would make participation unsafe. You participate voluntarily and at your own risk, and you assume full responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation. Los Compas Golf Studio does not provide medical evaluation or supervision.

9.3 Release and Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you hereby release, waive, and discharge Los Compas Golf Studio, its owners, officers, employees, independent contractors, instructors, agents, landlords, and property owners (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, liabilities, damages, and expenses — including personal injury, death, and property damage — arising out of or related to your use of the facility, equipment, services, products, or recommendations, whether caused by the ordinary negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise.

This release does not apply to gross negligence, recklessness, willful misconduct, or any liability that may not be released or limited under applicable law.

9.4 Waiver of California Civil Code § 1542

You expressly waive the protections of California Civil Code § 1542, which reads:

"A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party."

You understand that this waiver applies to claims you may not know of or suspect at the time of agreeing to these Terms.

9.5 Facility Rules & Safe Use

As a condition of use, you agree to:

• Swing clubs only inside a designated hitting bay, and only when the bay and surrounding area are clear of other persons.

• Remain outside the hitting area whenever another person is swinging.

• Use only equipment and balls approved by Los Compas Golf Studio for indoor use.

• Wear appropriate athletic or golf footwear; metal spikes are not permitted.

• Follow all posted signage, equipment instructions, and staff directions.

• Refrain from using the facility while impaired by alcohol, cannabis, or any substance affecting coordination or judgment.

Failure to follow these rules may result in immediate removal from the facility and termination of access or membership without refund.

9.6 Minors

Persons under the age of 18 may use the facility only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian and under the direct supervision of a responsible adult at all times. The parent or guardian agrees to this waiver on the minor's behalf and agrees to indemnify the Released Parties for any claim brought by or on behalf of the minor.

9.7 Guests

Members and clients are responsible for the conduct of any guest they bring to the facility. Each guest must agree to these Terms before using any equipment, and the inviting member accepts responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage caused by their guest.

9.8 Damage to Equipment & Property

You are responsible for the cost of repair or replacement of any studio property — including projectors, impact screens, launch monitors, nets, enclosures, computers, mats, and fixtures — damaged as a result of your misuse, negligence, or failure to follow facility rules or staff instruction.

9.9 Personal Property

Los Compas Golf Studio is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property brought onto the premises, including clubs, bags, electronics, and vehicles.

​

9.10 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the facility, your violation of these Terms, or the acts or omissions of any guest or minor for whom you are responsible.

9.11 Acceptance

Booking an appointment, purchasing a membership, entering the facility, or using any equipment constitutes your acceptance of this waiver. Los Compas Golf Studio may also require a separately signed waiver form, which supplements — and does not replace — this section.

10. Limitation of Liability

Los Compas Golf Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or products. You agree that your use of our equipment, services, and recommendations is at your own risk.

11. Privacy Policy

Your personal information is treated with respect and protected according to our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share customer data with third parties except as required to provide service or by law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting to our website.
